CANADA POST STRIKE

Canada Post Strike - Important Updates for

Residents

Due to the Canada Post Nationwide Strike

announced on September 25, 2025, delivery of

mail such as bills and correspondence from the

RM of Fisher will be impacted. Incoming mail to the

RM will also be affected.

Customers are responsible for paying bills on

time and late charges will apply if payments

are not received by the due date.

If you have mailed your property tax

payment, please don't hesitate to call our

office at (204-372-6393) to confirm your

payment has been received. It remains your

responsibility to ensure your taxes are paid on

time, even during a postal strike.

To help stay current, we offer several

convenient payment options for water/sewer utility

bills, property taxes, and other municipal

accounts. If you currently receive municipal

bills by mail, explore our alternative payment

options to find the one that works best for you

and avoid the risk of future postal service
