As per Provincial recommendations the Council of the Rural Municipality of Fisher has decided to close the municipal office to the general public. Access to municipal staff can be made by phone (204) 372-6393 email: or use the mail slot by the front doors to the office.

We encourage everyone to practise social distancing at this time by postponing all non-essential gatherings and events. Also, we strongly encourage everyone in the municipality to check on your neighbour, and relay messages to those who do not have access to the internet.

The RM of Fisher is currently in contact with government officials, Councillors, Fire Chief, Emergency Measures Organization and neighbouring communities on a weekly and or daily basis. Please do not hesitate to contact the office and please keep an eye on our website for updates and links to Provincial Alerts. If you are having an emergency please call 911.

Percy E. Moore hospital is still open but you will be screened at the door.  If you feel you need to go to the hospital please call ahead at (204) 372-8444. If you must go there, you will be greeted at the entrance and asked the following questions:

Do you have any cold / flu symptoms?

(cough, fever, sore throat, runny nose, malaise, headache)

If yes, in the past 14 days, have you OR have you been in contact with someone who:

> Travelled internationally?

> Been in close contact with an ill person with respiratory symptoms?

> Been exposed to laboratory specimens known to contain COVID-19?
